PRL JRF Eligibility Criteria
The following criteria must be fulfilled to get the PRLJRF-
1. You must be an Indian citizen.
2. A first-class degree (60% or above) in both your Bachelor’s and Master’s in Science or Engineering from a recognized university.
3. Final-year PG students can also apply, but they must secure first-class marks before the joining date.
4. You should have qualified atleast one of the following exams:
- CSIR-UGC-NET JRF/Assistant Professorship (December 2023 onwards)
- GATE (2023 to 2025)
- JEST 2025 (Physics)
- UGC-NET JRF/AP in Environmental Sciences

5. You should be 28 years or younger as of 1st July 2025.
