  • Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.), or another postgraduate qualification, with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

DAU SoL provides a choice of two different modes of PhD study with different financial arrangements:1. Full-Time PhD Candidates

  • PhD fellowship of ₹50,000 per month, applicable for the first 3 years of the program.
  • Full waiver of tuition fees during the fellowship period.
  • One-month internship is mandatory every semester for the first two years, in order to improve practical exposure and academic development.

2. Part-Time PhD Candidates

  • Tuition and fees for PhD are ₹3,00,000 per year.
  • Includes opportunities for international immersion trips during the first three years to improve global research exposure.
  • No PhD fellowship applies.
